Do you have a shop where I can visit?

No, FROG does not have a 'bricks and mortar' shop.

Our aim with FROG is to provide our customers with the freshest and best value organic fruit and veg available. Everything we order comes direct from our certified organic wholesaler (where all the shops get their produce from) on the same day you'll receive it. This means that what you are getting goes directly into your fridge before it even has a chance to hit the shop shelves- it's our way of ensuring you get the freshest produce possible, plus it helps minimise waste on our environment.

Most people rave about the freshness at FROG, and if stored correctly you will find that your box of organic goodness will last much longer then anything store bought. 

 

So you're an online business, but who and where are you?

FROG is run by Celine with the support of a small team of kind-hearted, dedicated helpers. (We use 'we' a lot when talking about FROG but really it's mainly me, Celine, a busy mum trying to give back to my community!!).

FROG is based in Hervey Bay, and we supply to Maryborough too. A lot goes on behind the scenes, but we don't have any fancy warehouses or offices. By keeping our overhead costs down we can also make sure that we keep FROG prices as affordable as possible for everyone else. Our aim is to give back to our community and do the very best we can for everyone who supports us.

 

Can I choose what goes in my box?

You cannot alter the contents in our set FROG boxes, however the good news is that if you prefer to know exactly what you will receive, you are welcome to make up a custom box from our great range of certified organic produce- view our range here.

As this option is preferred by many of our customers, we now offer the same pricing as in our set FROG boxes. 

Simply go through our fruit, veg and grocery catergories and add whatever items you'd like to your cart.

When making up a custom box, there is a $30 minimum spend, which can include whatever items you like from our range of produce, groceries, cleaning and skincare. 

 

How do I get my FROG box?

Boxes are packed and ready for pick up each Thursday afternoon from 3pm.

Either pick up from one of our pick up points or have it delivered to your door for $4.95 if you live in central Hervey Bay or Maryborough. Unfortunately we don't have the ability to deliver to all areas due to time constraints, so if you do not live centrally, we will confirm delivery with you on Tuesday.

 We currently have pick up points at the following locations: 

  • 37 Neils St, Pialba
  • 171 Dayman St, Urangan
  • Craignish Village Pharmacy
  • 223 Albert St, Maryborough
  • 3 Bell Street, Maryborough

 Pick up is anytime between 3pm and 6pm Thursdays.

If you require any grocery items before or after Thursday, you are welcome to contact Celine on 0415 18 15 18, to arrange collection on another day from our Pialba pick up point.

 

What is your order cut-off time?

We place our order with our supplier each Tuesday lunchtime, for our Thursday delivery. We ask everyone to have their orders in by TUESDAY 11.30am at the very latest, to ensure no one misses out.

Any orders received after Tuesday 11.30am will be carried over to the following weeks order. 

 

Is all your produce certified organic?

Almost all of our produce listed on our website is certified organic and grown in Australia, unless stated otherwise. FROG's main focus is on supplying certified organic produce. 'Certified' organic produce is the only way to know that you are getting is guaranteed to be chemical free and grown according to the stringent organic guidelines.

The organic certifications we trust and use are ACO, NASAA, AUSQUAL and OGA.

We have a small locally grown/chemical free section that supports our local and backyard growers, but this produce is only available as extras and we don't add this into our set FROG boxes.

 

What will my box look like when I receive it?

Your items will be packed in one of our styrofoam boxes. All items are carefully placed in the boxes with a minimal amount of plastic and packaging. If you have ordered a set FROG box and extras, these will be packed into the one box together. If for any reason you would like your extra items to be packaged seperately, please leave us a note in the comments when ordering.

Depending on your order, some boxes can get quite heavy, so please be aware of this when coming to collect your box.  If you need help getting your box to the car please do not hesitate to let us know as we are always more than happy to help where we can!

FROG styrofoam boxes remain the property of FROG and we ask that you return your box back to your pick up point as soon as possible, or leave it out for us on your next delivery.

 

Do your boxes come with lids?

We do our very best to provide boxes with lids, however at times boxes can be overflowing, or we just don't have enough large boxes to supply everyone with a lid. We encourage everyone that orders from FROG to make sure they pick up their box as close to 3pm as possible, especially on those very hot days. If you know you'll be unable to pick up your box until late, please let us know in the comments and we'll ensure you have a box with a lid.

 

What happens if an item I've ordered is unavailable?

Our aim is to provide you with 100% of your order. We do our best to list only produce that is available from our wholesaler. However availability can change at the last minute, due to fluctuations in the weather, and external demands on our supplier. If we can't supply you with an item you have ordered we will add a credit to your website account, which you can apply to your next order. Alternatively, we can refund directly back to your credit card or bank account.

We update our website every Sunday, once we receive the current availability list from our supplier. You are welcome to order before Sunday but please be aware that occasionally an item you have ordered may no longer be available for the following week. 

 

What happens if I am unhappy with the quality in my box?

Happy customers are our #1 priority. If for any reason you are unhappy with any of the items in your box please contact us immediately and we will happily offer a refund or store credit for that item- no questions asked. 

We work very closely with our supplier to ensure the produce we receive is absolutely fresh and of top quality. Fresh produce however can sometimes be temperamental, especially when it is organic and picked at the peak of ripeness, which is why we urge you to let us know if you are not 100% satisfied. 

 

Do I need to return my empty box?

Yes! Our boxes are precious and remain property of FROG, please help us by looking after yours. We rely on customers to return them to us as we re-use them many times to limit our impact on the environment and to help keep running costs down (a new styrofoam box costs $5!).

They can be dropped off when you pick up your next order, or when coming past one of our pick up points between orders.

If in Hervey Bay, we have a central pick up point at 37 Neils St, which is close to Woolworths in Pialba, and suits most people. Just drop your box on the porch at anytime.
